The quick answer is that they're the on-court rating (OVR-.5*ST-DUR-WE) for your team next year if none of your players improve a lick, your seniors and walkons leave, and you pick up conference-average freshmen.  It's not that precise but I really like the order it spit out, except for maybe OK St. vs. Baylor and TTU vs. Nebraska.
Well, I didn't balk much at it, but I doubt you factored in that TTU *should* only lose 4 next year, as Bartlett is eligible for a 5th year.  So I think you probably have us a touch underrated.

That's the one thing this doesn't catch, yeah.  It also doesn't account for the fact that Kansas and Missouri aren't going to be grabbing freshmen of similar quality.  But for a system I thought up on the spot a couple of days ago, it did OK.
