I assume you mean teams of the same franchise tied with the best overall record (for round 2 advancement)...

From the rules...

The other Round 2 league will consist of the best of each franchise, measured by regular season W-L%.  If two or more teams are tied, then the highest pythag. expected W-L% advances.  If still tied, then most runs scored. 

(I should also note that any tie-breaker games are officially part of the regular season record and will count in all the standings.)

The Pittsburgh Pirates race is really going down to the wire with 4 teams within 1 game of each other.  Here are the current W-L records along with the pythog. win percentages (thru 155 games)...

I am guessing under that circumstance that the first place ties would split the first and second place prize money, with the next team down getting third place money, etc.

Okay, good to know. 

I was in a fantasy football league where I tied for second place and they just straight split the 2nd place prize instead of splitting 2nd and 3rd place.  I was not happy.

That's awesome.  I'm playing this conversation with the commish in my head and keep coming back to the same conclusion that I would probably have to just smack him in the head for stupidity.

Yeah, I lost out on money in that and a survivor pool he also ran where he changed the rules for a tie AFTER I had already gotten a tie in a Steelers/Ravens game, then claimed the rules were that way from the beginning.  

Needless to say I don't associate with him any more.
