Possible Game 7 with the winner going to the World Series.

Who would you rather start for Game 7?

'95 Maddux at 100%   or   '88 Milacki at 93%

Unless your opponent has a 100% 88 Milacki waiting for, I'd opt for the 95 Maddux.  You might be faced with a similar decision in game 7 of the WS and using Milacki now (thus making him unusable for the WS if you won) with 95 Maddux at 100%, I'd feel comfortable with Maddux on the hill.

I'd even opt for Maddux even if Milacki was at 100% unless I knew for sure that my opponent was throwing his Milacki as well.

"Throwing your Milacki" - sounds like a euphemism for something dirty ...

I'm not really convinced that Milacki is all that much better than Mad Dog even at 100%.  Against a team that walks a decent amount it's pretty much a wash.  That being said, playing LIVE for a while can go a long way towards convincing you there isn't a huge difference between starting a guy at 100% and starting him at 93%.  In general pitchers remain reasonably effective down to about 82-85%, at which point you start to be able to discern a dropoff.  And starting at 93 will still let him go at least 5 or 6 innings until he gets to that point (unless he gets hammered and throws a ton of pitches early).  That said, in the interest of keeping him at least useably fresh for a potential WS, I'd go with Maddux.  And it's really not all that close.

You might consider setting Milacki as the mop-up guy and clicking "use mop-up only when losing."  That way if your Maddux does get blown up simmy should go to Bob and that would give you the best shot to keep the lead as manageable as possible and give yourself the best possible chance at a comeback.  But if you do that make sure you have plenty of other pitchers available for any inning in which they might be needed so you don't end up wasting his pitches.

Really? I have 2000 Pedro in a 120M cap right now and these are his stats:

20 GS  13 QS  8-3  122.7 IP  0.95 WHIP  .196 OAV  2.93 ERA  2.30 ERC  141 K  27 BB  89 hits allowed

He's also leading for the Cy Young Award in my division.

As a comparison, here is 1995 Maddux on my team as well:

21 GS  13 QS  13-4  137 IP  1.12 WHIP  .237 OAV  3.81 ERA  2.98 ERC  86 K  26 BB  127 hits allowed

Wow, even I'm bewildered by that 00 Pedro stat. You've used him 5-7 times and he's NEVER had an era under 4.00?  That's definitely weird.
