We just had this discussion recently maybe you can go back and find it. Basically tandems are useful when you want to start pitchers with low ip/g. L/R tandem is useful in ouwitting platoons but you don't normally face many platoons. You probably won't get any more PH appearances. If they have adequate ip/g then no real advantage over Starter A/B setting.
