How is it cheating when it's openly allowable and anyone can do it as long as they're willing to buy 2+ teams in the same world? What should the penalty be? How can/do you police it?
If you have 2 teams in the same world and you aren't using that as an advantage in some way in recruiting, you're an idiot, period.
If you have 2 teams in the same world and you ARE using it as an advantage in recruiting you're an idiot. If you're not going to play on the level then the game really SHOULDN'T be fun... If I were cheating I don't think I'd have nearly as much fun, 'cause the whole competition on uneven footing doesn't provide the same competitive rush. And if it's not fun then it's a waste of time, and what kind of idiot throws time and money at something that they don't enjoy?
You're acting like it's some big sin...when I've done this in the past, I've just used it to tab the potentials (high/lows) of guys I'm interested in, so again, what's the big deal, where's the big advantage? I still have to out-recruit coaches X, Y, and Z to get said player(s) in question, so I don't see how this offsets the competitive balance...so you have a couple hundred more dollars to 'cruit with...that's not going to make or break anything.
I thoroughly enjoy this game, it's the only one really worth playing/paying for on this site, and if there were 137 users with 2 teams each at D2 in one world and I was the only guy with 1 team (and for the sake of argument the 276th team is Sim AI), I would still play without issue.
Like I said, grand scheme, this is just not a big deal. "Sharing" FSS between teams let's you see the greens and reds...beyond that, what does it do?...You still have to recruit, you still have to set your charts, you still have to gameplan...you're grandstanding on a feature that basically shows you if a recruit is worthwhile or not...oh and if you still don't like it...my solution....make FSS free to everyone, "problem" solved.
