Yeah, the more that surfaces, the worse it gets.   sculley tried to screw up the team, half-heartedly IMO, but the mess he created could be handled(and was) by the 31 other owners.  greeny has created a situation that can't be resolved in-house.    It's not a disaster but that team will be playing 5 card draw with 4 cards for a few seasons.

See! And everyone thought I was the biggest dick just because I didn't like WiS anymore. I never pulled a stunt like this. Say what you will about my posts, I have never done anything even close to trying to screw a team up, let alone an entire world. All I ever tried to do was discuss things with these people (most of which are sociopaths). Just wow.

If WifS wanted to regain some of the lost consumer confidence, they could do a couple things WRT this situation.

A.  Strip greeny of his teams immediately.   This thread is a signed confession of a situation every world hopes to avoid. 
B.  Acknowledge that this is a problem that they will address.   They could implement something like this:
   1.  Players will not sign a deal that takes them past the age of 39.
   2.  Players 39 or older will only sign 1 year deals.
   3.  Players will not sign for more than their demands once FA ends. 

Barring that, just say something.   If they are truly following the forums, they know this thread exists and that it's the most "popular" HBD thread going right now.

Some good news: I got CS to undo the three contract extensions, which were the majority of the damage that greeny had done.  This takes $87.8m of future payroll off the books.  Still trying to get them to address the five FA signings, which were not nearly as bad (relatively speaking) but would be good to also get undone or at least reduced.

Future payroll for Albuquerque now looks like:

What I don't understand is if he was so unhappy with the contract why didn't he just leave the league at the end if the season. 25 bucks down but a lesson learned to check commited payrol and contracts.

More good news: CS reduced the five FA signings from 9/17 down to one-season deals.  This takes an additional $57.2m of future payroll off the books.  I think CS has been very coopoerative in undoing the damage that greeny had done.

Alternatively, CS could have subtracted $25 from the account on file for greeny each season until the contracts ran out.  That would have been fun.
