And to think, being the contrarian that I am, I was about to point out some of the merits of greeny's position.  Greeny, you talk about not messing up a world and then go and do it.  Thanks, from the other 31 of us.  I imagine if greeny was in a room at the league's owners' meetings, his team nickname would be appropriate.

Makes me wonder if greeny and sculley are the same person, p*ssing all over the world in temper tantrum.

I'd like point out that I made a trade with greeny for one of his players that sculley released.   He was responsible for all but 327k of the 6.3m contract.   I included 5m to offset the deal.    I screwed up and thought next season was an option year.   Otherwise, I don't make the deal.   It was pointed out, during WC discussion, that next season was guaranteed too with the 3rd season being an option.   So, without being prompted, I agreed to send him 5m next season(as his responsibility for the contract doesn't change) to offset the contract.    I could have said "Too bad, so sad, pay attention".   I could have lobbied to have the deal vetoed since I misread the contract.   But I didn't.   I didn't want to "punish" greeny for sculley's actions or greeny's inattentiveness(or mine).  

Everyone has bent over backwards to help greeny with the 6 players sculley released.  

And he proceeds to attempt to wreck the team because someone didn't bend far enough.

Yeah, I saw that one too.   Wheat was on my "target" list.  I'm sure he was down to 2 years, 1.7m per.
