Maholm + Johnson to Braves for decent pitching prospects. Maholm kicked *** the past month or so, so they got more than I would have thought for him. Nice to see him turn into a decent haul, and I hope he keeps pitching well. Johnson was a good Cub too, as he always played the game right & hustled.

Soto to Rangers!!! Hooray, glad this bastard is gone. I just hope they don't sign K. Hill again, ugh.

Hopefully Soriano + Dumpster get traded today!!! Dumpster is a POS for turning down the ATL trade, as far as I'm concerned. I don't think they can get as much for him now. I almost fainted when I read the other day that LAD/SF had both shown interest in Soriano; you'd think nobody would want him because of that contract. I'd love to see him gone.

Garza is unlikely to get dealt, as he hurt his vagina or something the other day.

Cubs got 2 guys for Dempster:

K. Hendricks SP (A-ball) 130 IP, 2.82 ERA, 112K, only 15 BB.
Villanueva 3B (A-ball) .285/.356/.421

I am actually, although Soto being gone is the biggest plus at the moment.

Dempster didn't carry much trade value at all.  He's 35, in the last year of his deal, and let's not forget...he's Ryan Dempster.  Getting two solid prospects for him was a good move.  The fact TheoCo got something for Soto is amazing.  He was going to be non-tendered and we got a live arm for him.  We sold high on Maholm as well.  

I love watching TheoCo work.

Yep.  Except for The Riz, Castro, Barney (but only defensively), and a few pitchers, there isn't much to watch.  But I like watching those guys, so my remote gets the workout.

The Cubs don't actually want to win.  Their whole charm is based on the fact that they have sucked for 100 years.  I mean, look at the Red Sox....they win a few rings and hire an ****** like Bobby Valentine, and now everyone hates them....even more than hate the Yankees. 

and you believe that feeling only goes back to the Valentine hiring??
