Tim Tebow vs Aaron Rodgers Topic

Obviously, I think we know who is having a better season up to this point.  But here is the serious question: who will win more Super Bowls in their career?

well considering Rodgers has one and is on his way to a second, while Tebow is mired in crapsville - it's a no-brainer.

Now, ease up on faith boy, opie_o'hater

Serious question....hahahaha!!!!

Yes it is a serious question and here's why:  I think we can all agree that it is harder to win a College Football championship than the Super Bowl.  There are far, far more teams.  And there is no playoff system.  Only the top two teams out of 300 something even get a chance to vie for the championship.  Aaron Rogers, like so many other great collegiate players, never won the national Championship.  That's no harsh criticism, and since the Super Bowl is far easier to win that that it makes sense that he has already won a Super Bowl.  But think of this: Tebow won, not one but TWO, National Championships.  In the NCAA, where it is that much harder.  I would think on average that has to equivicate out to atleast 4 expected Super Bowls in the pros, should he played the required numbers of years and make the required numbers of starts to make the stats average out.  THATS MATH people. So yes, this is a serious debate.

Wow.  Even if that's just a poke, it's really impressive.

He's definitely trolling

No.  You'll see what trolling is when I start my David Carr vs Cam Newton thread.

Uh, there are 120 NCAA teams eligible for the National Championship.

that still sounds like the equivalent of four NFLs to me.

if the NFL had 120 teams, I would only expect two Super Bowls from Tebow. Simply multiplying though doesn't take into effect certain Cartesian principles of probability.  Hence, I expect Tebow to win 4 super Bowls and participate in 4-6 super bowls should his career last 10 year or longer.

Now if we substitute Kierkegaardian principles (more often used by Canadian football and Vatican football statistical nerds) for the more standardly used Cartesian principles, replacing the underlying idea of chance with that of a form (be it creative or deistic), Tebow would be expected to win more super bowls than the Pittsburgh Steelers ever have.  Which, I think, we can all root for.  Given how classless Steelers' fans are everywhere.
