Season 66 Predictions

1. Marietta
2. Mass. Liberal Arts
3. Chowan
4. Hamline
5. Moravian
6. Chicago

It seems like there are a lot of young teams for those involved this season.  There really doesn't seem to be much of a difference between the best and the worst.  Time will certainly tell though.
Guess we have something to aim for then. Second-division indeed.

I hope my players don't see this prediction! Eventually we should be pretty good but we are notoriously slow starters.

Also, I will continue updating the standings post from page one.  I won't determine tie-breakers until the end though.

It looks like Marietta has sealed up the victory once tie-breakers are taken into account.  The Hamline-Mass. Liberal Arts game this afternoon will be for second place.  There are too many scenarios that can play out in the bottom-half of the bracket to analyze right now.  We'll just have to see how it plays out.

Edit: If Chicago Beats Chowan, 4/5/6 will be Chicago/Marietta/Chowan.

It seems like I got 1 and 2 correct, but everything fell apart after that.

Thanks for organizing this, coolman. I thought it might be fun to come up with an all-tournament team. Other than the number of times the individual was named "player of the game" (that number is in parenthesis), there is no particular scientific method used (and no position requirements). Here are my choices for the team:
Donald Putnam (4) - Massachusetts Liberal Arts - He wins the outstanding player award.
John Newby (2) - Marietta
John Cox (2) - Marietta
Eric Doctor (1) - Hamline
David Howle (1) - Chicago

Feel free to chime in if your player got jobbed!

Wow, this is one hell of a non-con tournament.

Thanks gomiami.  I think we used to face off a long time ago in the ASC in this world.  I wasn't nearly as good back then, lol.

Season 67 Predictions

1. Hamline
2. Chowan
3. Moravian
4. Marietta
5. Mass. Liberal Arts
6. Chicago

The way I see it, Hamline is a clear favorite, Chowan/Moravian/Marietta are closely bunched in terms of talent, and Mass. Liberal Arts and Chicago are a small step down.  It should be a fairly exciting tournament again though, as most teams have more mature teams this season.
