FWIW, I played a season in For Life.  I don't recall ovech even posting in the WC.
He has posted angry comments at/about many of the coaches that "committed" to 3 seasons at the beginning of the world, only to jump ship after Season 1 or Season 2.  I don't recall anything beyond that.
He's still there, kc.  Tampa Bay
I knew that, I meant as far as posting.

I wonder how nordique consistently gets good players with his round 1 picks with 0/0 in scouting?
Apparently by trading them for actual talent while they're still "draft picks" and before they become crappy players.

That's really not a tough one.

If you're getting his round 1 pick, wouldn't it behoove you to tell him who the good prospects are?   You know he doesn't know.    So, if you're cool with trading for picks, you have to protect your interests.   And, as soon as you say "Rank these guys in this order", you've colluded.     No way to prove it because I don't think anyone would be dumb enough to admit to it but there you have it.

Oh come now I am sure there is no sharing of information going on between him and another owner who described him as his BFF and has a 20/20 budget.

I don't know in nads3000 has made any "future considerations" deals with him.   But I know if I had, I'd have supplied him some information on who I wanted him to rank.    It only makes sense.   Which is why these deals can't be made.  Well, except in one world.

Come now Crickett, this is a little bit pessimistic isnt it?  We should assume the best in these fine gents.  These are trying times, and a guy has to do what a guy has to do to get ahead, doncha tink?  ;)

nauds and nordique have worked quite a few trades, so it's difficult to figure out which trades are linked to others, but in season 21, nordique traded his first rounder from season 19 and one of his comp picks from season 20, in exchange for nauds 19th round pick from season 20.  It's hard to remember what was in the world chat in September of last year, so maybe they announced that the trade was left over from a previous trade, but I think that would have been a red flag for quite a few guys.

If they didn't announce it, and a trade for 2 1st rounders in exchange for a 19th rounder wasn't veto'd, that certainly says something. To me, it says "Get out of this world."

I'd also wonder why ovechkin didn't notice that at the time and question it then?

Also true. But you'd think SOMEBODY out of the 30 other owners not involved in that trade would've noticed and maybe questioned it. Def some things goin on in that world, and def not a place I'd want to be a part of.

I've questioned so many of his trades, it's hard to keep track.  I might have called out the trade.  I'm sure I vetoed it, but it obviously went through.
