One team left.  In case you don't feel like going to the previous page:

http://www.wisjournal.com/HBD/Pages/Popups/FranchiseProfile.aspx?fid=2976  This NL West franchise is perfect for the experienced owner with a big competitive streak.  The NL West is our division of death, and this franchise dominated it until recently, winning 12 straight division titles, making 14 straight playoff appearances and winning three WS championships, until the streak came to a close last season.  Still some very good pieces here, but you'll have strong competition for a playoff spot.

We have four openings for season 24, the most we've had in quite a while.  I'll post info about each franchise shortly.

Our first franchise in the NL East is waiting for you to guide it to its first postseason berth since way back in season one.  It's most recent home was Cincinnati, but another owner has claimed the Queen City as its new city, so you'll have the opportunity to start fresh in a new locale.  There are some good pieces on both offense and defense, but coming off a 65-win season, this is probably a rebuilding project:

TAKEN Franchise number two from the NL West had a great run in San Francisco for more than a decade, before falling on hard times last season in Omaha.  We had an owner go AWOL, which led to a 100-loss season, despite the best efforts of BrianCampos as caretaker for the last half of the season.  Things aren't that dire for this club, which has some very good pieces, particularly on the pitching side.  Fatigue issues made some numbers look much worse than they should have been.

Our third franchise hails from the NL South, where they won 83 games a season ago, gaining 20 wins from two seasons before.  There's a lot of power on this roster, which belted 244 HR last season.  They're probably a pitcher or two away from being a real contender.

Our final franchise is the lone AL franchise available residing in the West.  They had some very good seasons over the last decade, but most of the great players from that run have moved on or retired, and this looks to be a rebuilding project.  There are a few good young players to either build around or deal for more pieces.  This division produced last season's World Series champion.

See the first post on page one for more details on the few rules and guidelines we have in this world.  It's got a great group of owners, with a lot of crossover from the outstanding L.E.G. World.  We'd love to have you join us!

This is a great world.  I joined last season and couldn't be happier.  The World Chat is active, friendly, and civil.  In addition, there's a lot of parity.  Last season only one team topped 100 wins.  The winner of the NLCS only had 88.  Come join this world so we can get another season started!
