We have two openings for Season 27 in Negro League, so we're looking forward to getting started soon. Both of our available teams were competitive last season, but finished just a bit out of the playoff picture.
NL South:
https://wisjournal.com/HBD/Pages/Popups/FranchiseProfile.aspx?fid=2969 Perhaps surprisingly for a team that's been playing in Houston, this team has enough pitching to be successful, but was a bat or two short at the ML level. Perhaps you're the owner who can help them take the next step to a postseason berth after an 83-win season last year.
AL South:
https://wisjournal.com/HBD/Pages/Popups/FranchiseProfile.aspx?fid=2953 A 78-win team last season, Jacksonville has some solid pitching and some thump in the lineup. They could use a table-setter or two at the top of the order to help them score some more runs.
As of this morning, we have two other owners who have not renewed, but who have told me they are returning. One of those teams is also in the AL South, so if you're interested in the open AL South team, please check with me to make sure you choose the correct franchise.
