Radke made $63mil in his career and Hunter like $3mil. Radke doesn't care how much better Hunter was. Catfish was a dominant pitcher for about 7-8 yrs, actually longer than Pedro and Koufax were so he is definitely HOF material. And Pedro made $146mil...he was slightly better than Real as Radke.
Sorry but 7-8 is wayy too long. It was more like 3-4

They're roughly in the same tier. You could make arguments for both. Hunter, on the basis of his peak and 1000 more average-ish innings, Radke on his career effectiveness.

No, YOU could make those arguments. I'm with the normal baseball fan in belief that Hunter is much better than Radke.

It was really just 3. Even in his "most coveted" years of 72-75, he mixed in a year that he was just barely above average.

Catfish Hunter = Brad Radke

Classic.

BL doesn't like it when pitchers win games.
6/27/2017 1:32 PM
Is that what I said? Or did I say pitcher W/L record is useless?
6/27/2017 1:35 PM
Hunter also had 126 CGs and 28 Shut outs in that span...impressive. Innings eater and winner.
6/27/2017 1:37 PM
Well, you seem confused when presented with pitcher's W/L records, because you can't tell if the guy who went 21-5 is better, worse, or the same as the guy who went 2-17.
