"Jets-Broncos agreed to Tim Tebow trade before Denver asked NY to pay back portion of bonuses and salary already paid to Tebow. No deal yet."

Sounds like Elway took the first offer he got and said "SOLD!".  Then somebody in accounting pointed out the bonuses, and Elway said "****, I guess I should've looked at that before I traded his ***"
Yep.  Elway worst front office ex-player since Matt Millen.

I was hoping New England would trade for TT.  Should Brady get hurt Tebow is a reasonable solution, but I was thinking Belichick is the one coach who could get away with going for 2 EVERY timke and not get questioned.  With Tebow being the 2pt specialist.  Could've conceivably changed the entire game and how it's played.  Granted this is/was a pipe-dream..

Anyways, Tebow for a 4th is reasonable.  I'm a Jet hater and i can't knock it.  Not sure why the Jets fans are.

Tebow starts by Week 9

If Tebow goes somewhere else, does Sanchez get another "We're Sorry Baby" bonus?

Ya, Elway sucks. If only he could find a way to sign the greatest QB in NFL hist....oh, wait a minute.

Pro - I get to laugh at cresticle in perpetuity because his beloved Jets are a laughingstock now.  There is no debating this.  Pluswhise, he's shown he's not a true fan.

Con - I like Elliot and he doesn't deserve to have this happen to his beloved team.  I'll still make fun of him as well, but I won't enjoy it as much as shitting on cresticle.

Joe Montana is 55 years old.  He isn't coming back.

Thanks Tony.  No one deserves to have their beloved team trade anything more valuable than a ping pong ball for Tim Tebow.  And for those who are questioning why Jets fans are upset with this.....  Here is why....

It's not an isolated incident.  It is a series of ineptitude.

1)  We dont even try to sign Peyton Manning when he became available, even though our defense is basically solid, the run game is solid, we have Plaxico & Santonio as wideouts and Keller at TE which is solid, yet only finished 8-8 with a 3rd year QB who wasn't that dazzling in years 1 & 2, and definitely regressed year 3.

2)  We, after realizing Peyton wasn't coming here even though his BROTHER plays in our city, then REWARD the reason we were 8-8 with an extension and a raise.

3)  We then trade something more valuable than a ping pong ball for the most inaccruate QB of our generation (not acceptable even if he is only going to play Wildcat and goal-line formations)

I dont know how else to say this other than TIM TEBOW BEING ON YOUR ROSTER CANNOT IMPROVE IT UNLESS HE WAS REPLACING ME.

Well said.

1.  Brett Favre
2.  NFL contracts aren't baseball contracts.  Ask Donovan McNabb.
3.  Why do you hate winners?

Tim Tebow replacing Sanchez is ideal.  As it stands, he's just replacing Mark Brunell.   Who might have been a smidgen better than you but not by much.

Sorry, while he may be all of these things everyone is ranting about..he won a division, and a playoff game.  Was a 1st round pick.  Wants to improve.  Tebow is not a negative.  I'm pretty surprised.here.  Maybe it's fun to pick on his negatives, but the PROVEN plusses so far   far outweigh them.  Especially for a 4th rounder.

He's so awesome he's being traded for a 4th rounder.
Which is why it's pretty much a good trade for the Jets.  Worst case scenario for the Jets, Sanchez continues to suck.  Fans call for Tebow.  Sell shitloads of jerseys.  Generate millions in souvenir sales.  Compete with the Giants for face time in NYC.

Well, actually, the worst case scenario is that Sanchez continues to suck and then roofies Tebow, puts him in bed with Joe Namath and Adam Lambert and posts the video on youtube.

But I doubt that will happen.

Schwartz must be drunk on the green kool aid. The Jets didn't try to sign Peyton? Let's try Peyton had no interest in that side show.

Which brings me to my next point: Good ol' muddy. The Jets are NOW a laughing stock? Have you followed the NFL the last 2 seasons? The Jets might be the only team in the NFL that can actually be improved just by Tebow signing the contract. Their fractured locker room is what prompted the Jets to go after the most high-character, hard-working guy in the NFL. I'll bet some of Sanchez's own teammates would advocate for Tebow (anonymously, of course)

That's what the Raiders got for Moss from the Patriots.

Maybe you remember him.
