Obama: Worst President Ever? Topic

And when Romney wins next Tuesday all these conversations will end.

There is no bias, just bad numbers.

Vote supression changed all the numbers so the polls were not biased.

Racism, dog whistles and Citizens United changed the parameters.

There is no bias.

The left likes to claim no bias. And if you were not so blind you would know that my post was written in the words of the left.

The question is now and always will why do the polls seem to slant to the left almost all the time?

Is the left trying to slant the numbers, or is it an unconcious act of only seeing one point of view?

And all this talk about the polls is going to disappear if Romney wins.

No one is going to do a story about how the media called it to the left again. No one in the media is going to point out that 538 missed slightly to the left again.

And of course you ducked the main issue.

Why do most polls skew to the left?

How about Gallup did about +2% in the 2008 and 2004 elections for Democrats.

It is entirely possible that we will be waiting on Ohio for 10+ days after the election. We all got absentee ballot request forms in the mail. Anyone that sent in for an absentee ballot but did not return a ballot can only vote tomorrow with a provisional ballot. By law provisional ballots can't be counted until 10 days after the election. There are an estimated 200k of the absentee ballots that wont be mailed in.

You said "most." You do know what "most" means right?

One example is not even close. And Gallup has been leaning the other direction this time around. Which would support my argument that a poll is only as good as the voter model they use. They can be wrong for reasons other than trying to "skew" the results. Non-partisan pollsters don't have much interest in doing that as it damages their credibility.

Dewey defeats Truman

Of course, Dewey was a left leaning Repub anyway. Gawdamn commie. Proves your "point".

Ha! You should actually read the article.  It said that Reagan was up 5 points in an ABC poll and recent developments with the hostage situation could quickly make poll results obsolete.
