President Obama said “If you’ve got a business — you didn’t build that. Somebody else made that happen.”

That's pretty insulting.
The left really believes that if it wasnt for big government the whole nation would come to a screaming halt.

The Pub governors across the country have been introducing minor cuts to government spending and Left is portraying it as the end of the world. They act like if it wasnt for the government we would all be out of luck.

The first statement was directed at a specific. The second is a general polict belief that is agreed upon by many exonomists.

They are in no way realted and the order is incorrect.

This of course is all the left has.

Obama has screwed up time and time again and he has no plan to get us out of the recission without spendng trillons we dont have on prograns that wont work that mostly prmote his "Green" agenda.

I'm pretty sure a lot of people built their business without government assistance.   I'm sure a similar amount of people maintain their business without government assistance.   Now, to be fair, a lot of things have to be around(roads, police, currency, etc) in order for the business to actually work but that certainly doesn't mean no one built their own business or that somebody else made it happen.

Exactly. That's what he (and Elizabeth Warren earlier) were saying. Yet certain thin-skinned people get up in arms about it.

I wouldn't exactly call them "thin-skinned".   When people work hard to build and maintain their own little tiny empire, they don't really care to hear the leader of the free world scream "You didn't do ****!!!   Somebody let you do it!!!!!"

It's akin to tell a big league pitcher that he didn't earn his spot on the roster.   That he was blessed with the ability to throw 98 MPH and he just came along for the ride.
