Just venting

Americans need a health care plan that works

. In 2 - 3 months I get to have the buzz saw thingy for an Aorta replacement and a new heart Valve (both have a lifetime guarantee) If I lived in Seattle instead of Vancouver I would be out $75,000. I will probably spend $150. If there is no 24 hour prep before surgery, I will stay in a hotel 2 blocks from the Hospital (I live 2 hours away.. rush hour in Vancouver is a nightmare)

My health care plan picks up the rest. Yes my taxes pay for this. We probably spend 15 to 18% of our tax money on Health Care. it's worth it. All that and I abhor Socialism.
and in Canada, if you are wheeled into Emerg, they don't send you somewhere else because that particular hospital isn't approved by your health care plan.

So get with it

Hopefully you won't die waiting another 2-3 months in line.

We have a system like that. It's called the VA and it works wonderfully. Oh, wait, sorry, it doesn't. My bad.

Also Mike, your attitude is not isolated. I have heard it before and it is one of the reasons I regret having served this country. It was not worth the time and risk for the people who care only about themselves and their comfort.

Knowing that you two clowns were going off, I decided to read this one. Here's my response:

I respect what the military does for me. But that doesn't mean I have to respect every soldier. Throwing on a uniform, whether military or police, doesn't magically turn a piece of **** person into a human to be respected. I only know you from your posts but there has been nothing, absolutely nothing, in them that would make me think you're a person to be respected. So jump off that "I served" high horse. You're garbage now and I imagine you were worse garbage in your 20s.

I love this site. Where else can I be called garbage by a low life turd who has gone out of his way to insult me, my family, my education, my home and any thing else. It is no wonder that What if Sports is a dying enterprise. There are less then 20% of the participants here that were here a couple of years ago.
Any one who allows Mike to bully them needs to check out their self respect. If this goes any further you can be sure I will not look to administration for satisfaction. There are federal remedies that are available.
