There are too many leagues doing a bad job of filling their openings, CS has told people that have 32 owners ready for go with fresh leagues that they were ready to do something about the openings, closed a couple offending leagues, immediately waffled because "some guy died" and here we are months later with no other actions taken.  Meanwhile, Rice Not Lynn has taken another month vacation because there's no demand to play there and their commish refuses to go public.

I think I see one of the "problems" in that world.  They have MWR but don't seem to enforce it.

Since I'm sure tonic will eventually show up to put me in my place, here's the problem with unenforced MWR:   They mean nothing.   If my intention is to tank and last season a 45 win team was "reviewed" then allowed to remain, my case is "But that guy...."   WifS will back me up as long as I did nothing blatant if my review doesn't go so well.

i have no intentions of tanking mike. its just that this franchise won 30 games last season under different managment. 66 games is pretty easy to do, im not worried about it really. but i dont have much to work with. the BL squad is pretty bad. outside of a few pitchers, this whole team is quad A. i enjoy rebuilds and turning teams around though, so im up for the challenge.

I had to add 24 wins to reach 66.   Anyone in that league at that time will tell you that was one of the worst pieces of crap teams ever seen.    I think I had to run a 110m payroll just to field a team that wouldn't lose 100(which was my modest goal in S4 because there were so many bad contracts left to me).

****, your right, 50 wins. i took over another tragedy in eckersley that won 34 games i think. anyway, im not a fan of being called a tanker, but i know how this forum game is played.

Well, when someone starts making excuses on why they can't reach the MWR BEFORE the world even fills, it raises a red flag.   And, as willsauve noted, many of those that object to my posts tend to be owners with a handful of 40-50 win season.  And, as most know, I have a special name for owners who lose 100 time and time again. 

If any of that fits you, well, it simply fits you.

its cool, i get it. ill admit that i had no clue what i was doing for like 2 years. i have like 7-8 100 loss seasons, true, but i know how to play this sim now.
