And of course Gall Stegel repeal was Clinton.

That was absolutely a factor in the crash. Repealing the act was based on the fallacy that the banks could regulate themselves. But the zero reserve credit default swaps weren't part of Glass-Steagull and also played a huge, arguably larger, role in the crash.

And, while the repeal of Glass-Steagull happened under Clinton and he should receive blame, there were many Republicans pushing hard for the repeal of Glass-Steagull and other deregulation.

Don't forget the American shopping mall.
And the fact that you continue to mock a truly American institution like the Mall shows how out of touch you are!
I'm mocking the fact that you put so much faith and trust in this "institution".

In order for you to mock me, you have to mock the people in them.

Of course Clinton is running around doing commercials talking about the Republicans wanting the same deregulation that got us in trouble, when in reality it was him!

So we agree that deregulation was a large factor in the financial collapse?
9/27/2012 5:35 PM
Funny how swamp was so eager to blame Dems that he forgot to adhere to right-wing doctrine.

Enjoy the inevitable backpedal, shuck and jive.

I was talking about the lefts idea.

They always blame the collapse on Republican deregulation, when in fact the only one that could have any impact on it was Clinton's baby.

And of course since I am held to a higher standard of proof than the President of the United States he never has to explain anything!

doug - if you are so confident please take the bet I offered swamp. I'll give you $500 if Romney wins, you give me $500 if Obama wins. I'm sure we can find a way to escrow the bet online.
9/27/2012 7:51 PM
When do the debates begin? Aren't there three this year?
9/27/2012 7:59 PM
Yes! Three and one half if you count Biden!

What the hell do I look like? A card shark? Christ!  I'd gladly give you $10,000.oo if you could guarantee Romney would win and save the Republic from destruction.

This is hardly something to gamble on. One quarter of a millennium is on the line. A civilization is at stake. A world hangs in the balance.

And you want to reach into your pocket for a roll of worthless paper bigger than your limp ****.

Sorry about your luck.

And don't even talk to me if you're gonna offer up stupid **** like that. Cause I got something for you.

YOU tell me why Obama is so great and he's better than Romney and all the wonderful things and how great life is.

This ain't a game. You tell me and we'll talk.

The Constitution has been shredded. I'll give you a dollar if you even think you got a clue.

Biden will be at his debate, not sure if Paul Ryan can be pried away from another Ayn Rand Appreciation Dinner to participate.
