I could smack you for taking Price. Poor guy could have been on a title team, instead he's stuck on your squad

The worst part is, I can't even figure out why you wanted him. You're short a ton of frontcourt minutes, and you need post defense. You're moving LBJ to the 3, instead of playing him at the 1 or 2, for some reason. Anderson is playing some PF, even assuming you fill frontcourt minutes from non-draftees, and he's a pretty weak PF rebounder. You sure as heck didn't need any more threes, or really any more assists, and Price doesn't give you the things you needed (defense, rebounds). I just know you're going to end up doing something silly like playing Price only half his minutes while I sigh wistfully and wonder what could have been.
9/1/2012 6:46 PM
I am not moving LeBron to the 3 completely. I have 9 miilion dollars left, I have options.
9/1/2012 6:52 PM
Ryan Anderson will not play a single minute at the PF position.

shorting price 6 minutes im guessing?....ive got 2.5 mil left over myself so makes sense to me

dont mind lebron at sf if you got the right bigs....but i dont think unseld/jordan/undrafted guy are good enough in this league....should be a fun team tho...lebron should get a lot of triple doubles

9/1/2012 7:46 PM
I actually think I can get the right season of a guy I was eyeing, but didn't feel like buying an above 4 mil version. I really wanted Noah, Hardaway was shortlisted as well.

Well, this will be interesting because I don't think I can ever remember only having to use 7 guys. I think Buse was a nice fit in the 6th round. He used to be a WIS staple, but has fallen out of favor. Not sure why with that 90D, low fouls, 3.5 steals and low usage when you have good scorers around him. Thought about using the version where he hit some 3's but decided I'd give up a few 3's for about twice as many assists. Everyone shoots above 75% from the line except for Wilt. That could be a plus when teams are over the foul limit. I might have a little too much usage when Granger is on the court sometimes, but if you don't have a couple of bench guys that can score you're in trouble in a 52M league. Everyone is above a 74D, which can't hurt. The numbers come out about where they should be, almost 5000reb, almost 3000fta. Very low TO's and fouls. High efg. Everyone will have their weaknesses, and as stated, mine might be a little too much usage at times, not enough perimeter play and other than Wilt, no dominate rebounders, but this should still be an above .500 team that at least makes the playoffs. I would think.
9/1/2012 11:26 PM
coach, I just don't think your team will score well enough. You have some relatively efficient scorers, but too much of your team has sub-50% efg. And Wilt has been discussed ad nauseum - suffice to say the high efg% "support Wilts" are considered much better than trying to use the dominant scoring versions. Wilt has good fg%, but the free throws make him not the best dominant scorer to rely on. And some of the support guys are good - particularly Nance and Frazier - but the last few picks are somewhat baffling. Granger is solid at least, but not high enough efg% to really be a dominant scorer at this cap. And rebounding is probably going to be a problem, even with Wilt there. I would be surprised if the team makes the playoffs.
9/1/2012 11:46 PM
Well Nate, I'll be using that 38 min 29% usage season of Mitch Richmond. I now he sucks. But, your going to wish i didn't have him once the season starts. Why you ask?

Last season i had brandon, Ginobili and Richmond And they average over 60 pts, 18 dimes, took over 65% of my teams ft's, they don't foul and they don't turn the ball over. Brandon will start at point guard and Manu at shotiing guard. richmond backs both up. he will shoot over 42% from behind the arc on over 500 attempts. he shoots about 90% from the Ft line and he gets there alot oh and by the way so does brandon and manu. oh that richmond guy has an efg% of over 51, not bad for a volume score. And guess what ? he will give me over 100 steals to go with that terrible 44 defense of his. but  i can hide his bad defense because i have Brandon, Manu, AK47 and A.C whom all play very good D. That 29% usage works because i'll never have more or less that 16 or 17 usage points on the floor at any time. That 18 minute hole i have is more about rebounds and I've got the money left over to get that player. 40creb over 50 efg%  60 defense doesn't foul or turn the ball over with 17% usage.

just saying with the right team mates .....
