Well, Manning's cold weather stats speak for themselves.
Again, it ain't the weather... Norm Van Brocklin never
dealt w/ nite games, or floodlights...

Yale & Harvard played day games in snowstorms, a
hundred years ago... It's the nature of the game...

Howard Cosell & Don Meredith called ABC Football
games on Monday Night Football, in 1971... Jets vs.
Cle., & America was hooked... No debate or weather.

Get real... The phenomenon is the advent of artificial
light... Some QB's can, & some baseball pitchers can
NOT perform @ the same level of excellence...

C'mon Mike... Facts are facts & numbers related 2 the
outcomes are best reflected in those stats, instead...

Worth the study... Otherwise, Peyton says NO to those
Bronco's @ free-agent time... Shine a light on that !!!...

um....what?  Artificial light....he played over a decade in artificial light in Indy.

It's weather that kills Manning.  More so cold and windy than just cold.

Nite games are a f*ther mucker, -& an entirely different
category of evaluation... Been kept track of for 3 dozen
years... Dome games are different, as well, not similar.

Dome games are different, as well, not similar...

Again, & repeat (stay-on-track) --->>> those stats
are found in what is called "INDOOR/OUTDOOR"
won-loss records, which were 1st kept concerning
games played in the Houston Astrodome...

The roofs of domed stadiums (like Indy), wherein
the ceiling is designed to deal with reflected light
are different than 'open-air' stadiums which have
no capacity to deal with, & absorb, light above...

The original MNF games on ABC took a few years
to accumulate, to get enough of a sample-size, -to
begin to determine performance differences, & also
changed the way "sportsbooks" handicapped those
games, to set the betting lines...

Weather changes all the time... It's not a constant, &
is rarely a factor unless it is an 'extreme' event, such
as snowstorms & tornadic conditions where the 'air'
is too unstable to predict...

U cannot study years of team play, based on weather
& what U are looking for 2 substantiate your guesses
& arm-chair quarterbacking, just misses the mark...

Sunlight is vastly different than ALL TYPES of artificial
light used w/ technologies since the 1960's...

OK, you've been calling KC **** for weeks.    I'll call Tennessee ****.   So he dominated two **** teams.   Yay.

Dude is miserable in cold weather.    It's just a fact.
Please quote me the post where I said KC was ****. I'll be waiting.

And cold weather is cold weather. If he sucks in the cold, he sucks in the cold, regardless of opponent. You can't say "ya, okay, he did well THIS week in the cold - but only because he was facing a crappy team." Either the weather is the reason or it isn't.

Bump to show "everyone" doesn't defend Manning.

Well, we all know I don't defend him.

I will say that without a doubt he's a top 5 QB of all time.  I just can't say he's the best ever.  I guess I value clutch and playoffs more.  I know it's a team game.

Manning's numbers compare to Brady's in the playoffs.   Both have a slight drop-off from the regular season.

They have similar numbers, but they don't match the eye test.  Look at Mannings #'s from this Superbowl.  On paper, they weren't terrible looking, but watching the game, he looked brutal.  Brady has never looked brutal in the Superbowl (Brady was brutal vs the Jets 2010 i believe and Ravens 2009).

Just stumbled upon this website.  Pretty interesting.  Lots of stats to look at.  Brady's SB ratings are far superior than Mannings.

It's kinda ironic that because Manning completely outplayed Brady in the AFC Championship Game, that he got to face this stupid defense in the Super Bowl, and looks bad.  If the Pats beat Denver, and played similarly poorly offensively (I really don't see why they wouldn't), Brady would be the one looking bad here, and Manning may have actually looked better than he does now.

pssss, Did you see who Brady was throwing the ball too.  The Pats shouldn't have been there to begin with.  Also, Peyton was playing against a D that was playing 2nd and 3rd stringers.  Manning wasn't on fire till Aqib got injured.

I think that Brady and the Pats would have faired better vs Seattle in the SB, but would have lost as well.  Pats special teams are MUCH better than Denvers.
