1 There is no measurable standard, except Dow, that puts America in better shape now than when he took office.

2 Obama was allowed almost a free hand to run America for his first 2 years. He failed. He has taken a wide range of tactics to keep imposing his will on America. He still fails.

3 There has never been a time in history that acting as the opposition party was labeled treason. Of course when the pop culture is spreading your talking points without opposition you get a little isolated from reality.

1 Jobs are going to happen at the bottom, but they are not enough to put a dent in unemployment so that isnt actually doing better. GDP isnt doing better, maybe for a quarter but GDP doesnt work like that. Number a few others.

2 And he still got the massive Obamacare through.

3 The Republicans, like the Democrats, are both interested in doing what they think is best for America. The Dems are just wrong.

This election is about are we going towards...

Europaen style Socialism...

or.

More personal freedom and capitalism.

Very simple.

You can work or you can get paid by the government not to work.

Again this isnt about a strict 47% number. This is about who you are and what you believe.

I refuse to pretend that

a) the phrase "Europaen (sic) style Socialism" actually means anything, and

b) the Republican Party offers more personal freedom

The sole purpose of a business is to make a profit. The CEO has (almost) unilateral power to do whatever he wants in accomplishing this task. There is no sole purpose of government but making a profit doesn't show up anywhere on the list. The President has almost zero unilateral power.

EDIT: Regarding your quote that Romney is a winner at whatever he does...that obviously doesn't include winning presidential elections. His probability of election in November dipped below 20% today.
Umm, CEO's do NOT have almost unilateral power to do whatever they want . . . they still have to answer to their Board of Directors.  They are held accountable.  If they lose the faith and/or trust of the BOD, they're removed.
