It seems easy to blame toddleduc for the exorbitant prices, but dont forget, on the same day he bid 183 for Cain someone else bid 168 for Trevor Cahill and someone bid 233 for Ryan Braun. And this was before he got Cueto and Darvish on the same day.
My whole auction strategy was blown apart on the first day when Homer Bailey went for 77 and Brett Anderson went for 65. After those two I knew we were going down a long and strange road.

Thankful to beer for taking on this workload. Have enjoyed spending my evenings strategizing. Also thankful to oli and Don for not bidding what they could have on Trout. Now I get to lineup him everyday, and keep him next season for less than a hundy.
