Wade went from a late 1st round pick to top 10 this time, interesting...................

I'm using Wade right now in the teammate twist draft league and he's averaging 30ppg 9 assist and only 1.8 fouls + he gives 100 D. Last year in this league I had Lebron and Wade consistently out played him head to head. I'm not saying he's a better SIM player don't get me wrong, but he's making a believer out of me. Let's just say I'm on the bandwagon.

I tried Wade just for the heck of it in the last NCIH league and he lead the team to the title. I've heard that he's even better in this league so nice job coach. That 100 defensive rating seems to almost make up for his somewhat low efg%.

plus I like the fact that it gives me flexibility at the pg/sg position later in the draft

how rimes have changed... drob at 14 and magic at 16.

I almost took Durant but Oscar has been good to me....

I think those are both good value picks (I selected DRob in the top 10 last season).  Jason Kidd goes at #20 (same as last season).

I miss the days of getting Karl Malone in the 15-20 range. Finally getting the respect he deserves (I think we used to be much more board-obsessed when it came to big guys).

I know that in RL taking Big Ben over Larry Bird is a crime. But I've never had much luck taking Bird in the past.

I was going to take Bird if eleibowitz hadn't.  Even though Bird is my favorite RL player, he doesn't really fit the "statistical specialist" profile that is used on most successful teams.

Larry legend will be playing SG!

I feel like I've taken Bird twice, once successfully and once unsuccessfully. There's no reason he shouldn't be good to build around - he offers a ton of positional and season-choice flexibility, and does everything well.

I like having Gilmore and Marion to start with. Never used either of them in ODL.
I know I will use 74-75 Gilmore; 4 usage points, 80 def, 58 EFG, 37.8 creb. I really like the way that looks. Personally, getting that type of production at 15 seems like a steal to me. Not sure which Marion I will use though, depends on how the rest of the draft plays out. One way or another, I know I'm getting a SF that plays some d, gets some boards, hits an occasional three, and is offensively efficient.
