Anything can and sometimes does happen in college football. Clemson beats Ohio State 7 out of 10 normally but Dabo opened his big mouth and Buckeyes kicked butt. I think Alabama wins 9 of 10 and most by double digits. I would enjoy a close game like 34-30 but my prediction is 42-28 Crimson Tide.

I’m ticked off I forgot to get my bowl picks in was too busy with work and Christmas. That’s okay as I probably would have been crappy. Hahaha!

Totally off base of actual bowl picks but I don't understand why Dabo's comments made a difference. If Ohio State needed any added motivation on top of, you know, playing for a national title there's something wrong.

One small twist, if Bama wins and you cover (winning by more than 20 points), I will owe you two (2) $10.95 WIS gift certificates. If I win because of the points (I.e. Bama wins the game by less than 20) you owe me one (1) $10.95 WIS gift certificate. If, actually when, Ohio State wins outright I get one (1) $10.95 WIS gift certificate AND an all-access, no secrets kept, tell all understanding of everything you’ve ever learned about GD recruiting....deal??

As a coach, I would say that most of the extra motivation stuff is just media fodder. Dabo's vote and words made for good copy, but the game was won on the line of scrimmage and with Fields making the right throws.

Ya it was a weird bowl season. I didn't get them up in a timely manner like I like to do and then with cancellations and games got changed it was a lot to keep up with all around. That's why I'm awarding a consolation prize too.

The couple guys with 23 were counted in the "picked every game" because the one that was missed was the bowl game that got changed late so they didn't get a fair chance to vote. BJ was runner up as he submitted his pick before ddollison.

This sounds fun. I'll give it a whirl with some surefire bad picks. LOL!

The bowl polls start on page 20. You don't have to make all of your picks right now but do keep in mind that the bowl game poll is taken down the morning of the bowl game and you must pick all of the bowl games to be eligible for the gift card prize. Good luck to all participants!
