Who should give in? Topic

I assume that's in the book you wrote.

No, it can't.    There is a breaking point for taxation.   There always will be.   I doubt we'll throw another tea party but we will vote out the people who insist on raising "revenues" without improvements.  Or take our business overseas.

K bye.

I guess you don't understand the term "breaking point".

K STFU.

Seriously. Have fun in Somalia. I heard there isn't much government interference in freedom there.

So we are back to the original question. Who should give in.

The White House has the polls on their side. They seem to be willing to let America burn, as long as they can blame it on the Republicans.

Pressure must be put on Obama to solve this.

They should compromise with a bill to kill the automatic sequestration and extend all the tax cuts, payroll tax holiday, and unemployment.
12/12/2012 7:17 PM
There has to be cuts. We can do this.
12/12/2012 7:28 PM
No, there doesn't. At least not right now.
12/12/2012 7:36 PM
People have been saying we dont need cuts for 50 years.

We need cuts.
12/12/2012 7:41 PM
The cuts and tax increases can wait until the economy is stronger. If, as you say, the cuts have waited 50 years, they can wait another year or two.

We need cuts.
And the Republicans are proposing 0 specific cuts.
12/12/2012 10:28 PM
That too. Republicans don't really want cuts. They just want lower taxes.
12/12/2012 10:40 PM
You can't lower taxes without cuts.   Unless, as you suggest, the deficit is ignored.
