Should we be so surprised that schools would become a place of carnage?

Wow, just Wow.

These religious nuts have no etiquette for one, nor do they have any humanity.  Christ, 40 parents lost their children.  Unless some of the children were related, at which point there might be as few as 34/36/38 parents.  These people lost their 5 and 6 year olds and this A-HOLE has to blame what happened because God has been taken out of our schools.  OMFG.

I have a 5 yr old, if I lost him this way and I heard this guy say this Id have a hard time stopping myself from murdering him.  And Im pretty sure God would understand why I felt that way, heck He'd probably forgive me if I actually succeeded.

Both sides need to stop politicizing this tragedy.  This isn't about God in the schools or Gun Control.

It's about a ******-up, chickenshit ******* who hated his ******* life and killed a bunch of innocent kindergardners because his mom spent more time with them than him.

So we should become like China.  No freedoms.  No counterbalance to the government.

...and I agree as well.  Some degree of this happens in almost every country.

So I've lived in the country since 2007 and had no freedom for the past six years. Wow, who knew?

"We need more gun control" is not a valid argument in this case.

The firearms used today in this horrible tragedy were legally purchased, registered, and owned by the shooter's mother.

They were stolen from her after she was murdered by her son.  Did he shoot her with her own guns?  We don't know yet.  But if we find out he used a hammer, a baseball bat or a knife, you better get Bob Costas and start arguing for a ban on that too.

guns are not the whole problem. the sorry state of mental health care n this country is a big part of it as well.
