Call me a cynic but I'm not so sure that many of the folks intent on "saving the children" aren't really just gun control fanatics using a tragedy to push their agenda.

Yes that is definitely true.

Does it seem a little odd to anyone that an accident that hurt 3 people was on all the national news just because it happened to involve firearms.

The only stories that never make national news involving firearms is the ones where citizens defend themselves!

Oh it's definitely an agenda driven media we are fed each day.

One remarkable exception was CBS a week ago or so reported on a Georgia woman defending her home by shooting an intruder from the closet where her and her two children were hiding. Meanwhile ABC and NBC didn't even mention it...

Mostly it is all about what furthers the political agenda of the moguls in charge of the networks.

Of course the left just laughs at anyone that even implies a media bias.

Does it seem odd that people are injured at three different gun shows (Ohio, Indiana, North Carolina)  when the NRA is telling us that more guns will make us all safer? Presumably the people and venders at guns shows would have a higher degree of understanding about gun safety, would they not? And what of the trained gun instructor/security guard in Michigan who left his handgun in a student restroom?

Idiocy cannot be outlawed.

You have more people injured with guns at a gun show for the same reason that you would have more people injured with knives at a knife expo.

It is a large concentration of people using the devices in an unusual way and not in a normal enviroment.

My guess is more people cut themselves with a broken glass on the same day.   Why wasn't that reported?

Clearly a massive liberal conspiracy.

I'm assuming there are no glass control advocacy groups.
1/21/2013 11:15 AM
Exactly. Liberals don't care about glass control so they just ignore the big stories on the dangers of glass. Kind of like how they let the Kenyan get elected president.

I could probably equate it to conservatives picketing abortion clinics.    Crazy gonna be crazy.
