The Rest are the other guys I played in RF?
PPPS = Poor Plays Per Season?

Positive Plays Per Season.

PO + A + Positive - errors - negative x 1458

Herman cost you 70 good results in RF as compared to the other RF you used.   That would be assuming he/group played the full 162 games at 9 innings each.   That doesn't happen because of d-replacements and whatnot but it's a good guideline to use in figuring out his worth.   In the "Pinch hitting" thread I posted two guys I used in RF last season in MG.   Fielding was comparable but one raked while the other did not.   Therefore, one was worth the neg D while the other was not(which is why he found himself riding pine in the 2nd half).

is minus 70 good results in RF worth this at the plate?

It depends on what you'd have gotten from the other guys had they played full time.    Without getting too convoluted, Herman had an RC27 of almost 2 more than your team average.    I'd look at the others and see if Herman giving up 2 1/2 games worth of outs was a plus for you.    Just guessing, it was.

Can a guy with a Range of 1 and an Arm of 62-61 survive in RF?  Well, I'm not too concerned about the Arm, but more about the Range.  I used a guy with Range of 7 the last two years and he was decent (.979/5 minuses/635 innings) and then less than decent (.902/4 minuses/376 innings) over the two years.  His arm was 58-61.

But I have HarryDiaz coming.  HIs bat is 66-84-72-62-74 after his 2nd year.  Projects to 74-94-81-66-86.  Makeup is only 34, but he only has a small bit to go to hit projections and several years of growth.  He's a potent bat.  Will mash lefties.

But I also have WesleyWilson already in the majors.  Just raked as a MLB rookie.  Projects to 86-84-62-88-84.  His range is 3, so I don't gain anything over Diaz defensively, really.

I could platoon those two in a year. But I usually like to have a better PC guy in a platoon situation, especially a guy who hits lefties so I can give my #1 guy the day off against them.  Currently JoeSchneider , who I have for one more year then may resign.

Having all three of those guys would be great, if I can use a guy with 1 or 3 Range in RF some.

What do you think?
