shhhhhh stop it
It's been silent for a few days now...
Indeed, and that's desirable, so don't bait.

Listening to Cowherd earlier.  Goes to commercial.  It's Terry Bradshaw-

"You can't win without a great team behind you..."

See, even he knows.

Marino would face Aikman in a 2-3 matchup.  I'm interested to see results of this - if Marino doesn't win easily, then it's obvious America finds "Super Bowl wins" as a major individual accomplishment for quarterbacks.  Warner is holding his own against Marino, so I feel like this would be the case.

If they make it, we'll get a Peyton/Tommy Boy match-up in the semis.
They'll make it....since they are the best 2 QB's of this era.  Manning will also beat Brady, simply because of all the hate the Pats get.

Those 2 QB's are pretty much a wash.  Who ever you put higher is either a stat guy or a Super Bowl guy.
Sooooooo......Manning can only beat Brady because people hate the Patriots.

Conspiracy theory much?
I said they are a wash.  Also said that Manning will more than likely win because of the hate towards the Pats (see bis).

Keep in mind that ESPN is in the NE.   Other than you, nobody blows Brady as hard as Cowherd.   And it's his listeners doing the voting.
You're point about ESPN being in NE?  I do believe that the radio channel is national and the website is well, world wide.  Just because they listen to him, doesn't mean they'll vote along with him.  I mean, it sounds like you listen to him....and well, you hate the Pats.

Are you implying that ESPN will change the votes so that Brady wins this?  Conspiracy much?

I'm implying that ESPN has a NE lean.    Yanks, Sux, Jets, Giants, Pats.   The only other things they talk about are LeBron and where Tebow will end up.

They seem to talk about the Lakers a lot, too.
3/19/2013 3:11 PM
That's because they love LA. Heck every time they do Sportscenter there they have to declare that its' there as though that somehow means anything at all to the rest of us.

Yeah, good point.   But I think that covers it.

people in New England are not listening to Cowherd

also, with 3 of my 4 selections in the same bracket, this method is tainted

Brees/Rodgers is the only matchup that's close.

Dawson as an 11 seed was a joke, especially with clowns like Esiason getting higher seeds.

Jeez.  I lost Jurgensen to Rapelisberger.    That's friggin' stupid.   But I'm not complaining.
3/19/2013 6:30 PM
Hell, I would've taken Rapeslisberger over Jurgensen too.  Everyone knows that a rapist can beat a drunk.

Higher seed is winning all of them.  With the exception of Brees/Rodgers at 52/48, they are runaways.

It's the fantasy football generation.
