Is this one of the "never going to recruit him so give up" messages, or a backup/pulldown message? I can't remember.

Unless the kid doesn't respond to a call or the kid straight up tells you to go to hell it's not important. Or if international, the coach tells you to move on them keep trying.

That specific message though means nothing. I get that all the time and have signed plenty with that same message. It's not a pull down message I think it's just a no effort has been put in message.

Seriously? I was told a long time ago that was a you-can't-get-him message and have always ignored the players after getting it.

no rednu. You can sign those players. The only message that's an outright no would be like the kid telling you to stop calling or just a no response from a call. I usually go by the principle that my assistants do know squat. Maybe the kid is above your prestige level, but doesn't mean it's an outright no. Especially if he isn't considering anyone. It just means you have to put in work.

honestly I would call the kid again to judge whether he's a pulldown. I believe I've signed pulldowns with this message though, but I also think I've signed kids ready to accept effort other than ST's as well with this message. It's definitely not a hit the road message though.  

Called his coach, he said "I don't think Martin Luther in in their league" message...this is really frustrating, I've got 6 or 7 recruits I'm waiting for and I still am getting those "move on" and "out of their league" messages on all of them.

And they're all still undecided!! C'mon guys, New Ulm MN is not that bad in December!
