Why can't a moose play second base? Topic

Ignoring for a minute the fact that this guy is miss cast as a second basemen at all, why isn't her very good at it?  I thought at least I would have a plus defender at 2nd playing him there.  I can't figure why he's average at best.  Moose Gonzales

He doesn't look "average at best" to me after 25 games.   Looks pretty good to me.

Are you just complaining that he doesn't have any + plays in 25 games so far this season? Otherwise seems to be playing some pretty decent d at 2B.

Yeah, the lack of + plays, his .985 fp is fine, but no where near the league lead.  I just expected more I guess.  A + play every 10 games or so.  A solid .990 fp, that kind of thing.

Did you consider that 25 games isn't enough time to make judgement?

Montanez has 4 + plays.   And he's lesser in every category.    Small sample size, maybe?

Could be a SSS.  Its not like I have a better choice unles I move Gomez to 2b and Moose to 3rd.
