Knight's # of recruits Topic

Not only are the number of recruits down in Knight, the quality is waaaaay down as well.  I honestly can't find anyone that I would normally recruit to play on my D3 team.  No decent pulldowns from D2, either.  I'm pretty unhappy.

Quality is simply a random generation.

Just eyeballing it, it looks like the # of recruits is 40% to 50% less.

The overall number was a bit low, so I just added some more recruits to the pool.

Thank you, seble!

Interesting.  Didn't just add at the bottom level, either, some very good players were added.

That 899 rated ineligible, was he recently added?

cbg, I don't doubt you when you say that CS made more recruits, but isn't that solution sort of unfair? I know that if I have carryover money from the prior season I like to FSS my state and the nearby ones that I can afford ASAP to start planning next season's recruiting. If they come along and add more recruits to a state I've already scouted isn't that giving me an advantage over someone who scouts (and pays per recruit) later?
Now I'm wondering about this.  I didn't pay for FSS yet, am I just hosed relative to anyone who did?

Thats insane. The higest rated FR I have ever seen.

Yep. Same with me. Should be interesting to see how many schools battle for him.

Would be hilarious if 5 schools battle for him, spend all their cash on him, and he doesn't show up. He would start next season over 900.

Yeah, I think you just got boned.  I'm now regretting not grabbing another state or two at the discounted price.

its a pretty insignificant bonage, i think, but it definitely could make some difference in lower divisions
