Season 64 recruiting review. I had a great class for what I could get until Michigan State stole my SF who was going to be really good. I ended up just going after an International recruit that I had no idea about. His name is Man Hong. He isn't very good and I promised him 15 minutes but I doubt I will play him much. Mario Dailey is a great recruit but his defense changed from high to average which made me a little mad. He is athletic so he will still be a decent defender.

Season 64: I think we will have a very good team this season. We had a good  team last year and have most of them back from last season. We lost one starter and one bench player. Joseph Palomino will be able to step up and start at SG. This team also has some bench guys that can score and pleanty of great defenders. Should be a fun season!

Season 64 Summary

First NT bid since season 52! We had a very good season and went pretty close to what I was projecting going in. We won conference ( first since season 44) and won our first ever conference tournament title! We got an 8 seed in the NT and had played Oklahoma State first. Oklahoma State is coached by cornfused. My team won 70-67! Then we were off to the 2nd round! The only problem was that we ran into a #1 seed. The team we played was North Carolina coached by girt. We were outmatched and ended up losing 45-60. Even though we got beat we made it to the second round which hasn't been done by the Hoyas for 20 seasons. I was happy with the season and it is definitely something to build off of!

This kid will be a player. This is my first recruit ever to be a Mr. of a state (I know it doesn't mean a ton but still). I am thinking about playing him at the 2 or 3. He will be a really good defender and will be able to provide a little offensive power once he reaches his potential.

     James Meads will be a defensive power forward that won't be able to score but he will be able to play good defense. James is fast for a post but his rebounding scares me a little. I am not sure quite how he will end up.

The other James I recruited is also a post. His name is James Zmijewski. He will be a good rebounder and good defender but won't be much of a scorer. I will be intrigued which post will be better between Zmijewski and Meads. Zmijewski will be more of a rebounder and Meads will be a better defender. I think it will be Meads due to his athleticism.

Chris Green is a little low on athleticism but I do think he will be a pretty good guard for me. He will also be a defender and has the potential to be a good overall guard. He is really little though. He's 5'7" 150 pounds. Definitely one of the smallest (if not the smallest) player I have ever recruited at any level.

I cut Man Hong for the spot for this kid. Ronald Turner is definitely an upgrade from Hong. Ronal may not be starter in the future but he will definitely be a quality bench player that will still be able to play some defense along with being athletic.

Season 65 Recruiting Review:
     
     I really liked my class this season especially recruiting with a B prestige. Hopefully I will be at A- soon so I can recruit higher level recruits. This recruiting class is pretty good in my opinion. The only thing I am lacking entirely is an elite scorer but they will all be able to play defense. I was able to get all the guys I initially went after without anyone really trying to battle me. My favorite recruit is Robert Miller. He will be a really good player for the Georgetown Hoyas.

     I feel like we will do just a little better than we did last season. I think we will make the NT again and will win conference again. Last season was a step in the right direction for my team and I am hoping we can follow it up with another good season. We return 3 of our 5 starters. Mario Dailey (SO) will start for me along with Eric Perry (JR). My favorite recruits from my first two classes are now starters! The other starters are all seniors and will be needed for another NT run. We are one of the most athletic teams in the Big East. We are also one of the best defenses teams in the Big East! Go Hoyas!
