One of the things that "stumps" me (at D2 and D3) is that 1 HV doesn't always work but 40/40 always does.....what  I am interested in is the minimum it takes to sign for the cheapest amount......30/30 and ten minutes has done it for me, I am going to try 20/20 and 10 minutes soon
Well, if your numbers are correct .. 40/40 is worth 80+120=200 effort .. while you have 1 HV as 150 effort.

That's how I derived them!

Internationals always get tired of my letters in the mid 20s.  Maybe I write bad letters?

Do you think it's possible that there are "bonus" or "penalty" combinations of recruiting effort? Perhaps an HV is a little more valuable after the recruit has "gotten to know you" through calls, letters and STs. Imagine a non-big-6 coach showing up at your door without ever having been introduced? Creepy! Well, it's one explanation to why the 40/40 or 30/30 works and the HV doesn't in that case. You could try 1/1 with an HV and see if that matters.

"Hey, I just met you. And this is crazy. But here's a schollie. So consider me maybe."
there is definitely nothing like this (or the synergy joe says probably doesn't exist in the following post)

40/40 > 1hv, by a significant amount (almost 50% more). so there is no surprise there. im guessing your numbers which reflect this fact were less refined when you made this post?

(p.s. your hv should be 700/5 not 750/5, i use 10 for my phone calls so its all in "phone call dollar" units, which makes things easier, so my scale is 5x your scale)

will most guys accept 40 letters and 40 calls?  shows my ignorance.

SO you have calls at 10, letters at 15 and HV at 700?

<div style="text-align: left;">Do you think minutes is something like 50*minutes promised in your scale? &#160;That seems high but might be how some people get guys to sign late for a scholly and 10 minutes.</div>
