I don't even know that I'm a crappy owner.

But I do have two complete rosters ready.  One appears to be programmed for utter domination and the other is a collection of 25 sim eligible players from the database.

This has to be the most brutal collection of themes ever in terms of endless possibilities. I will be reviewing options for the ERA/AVG league in my sleep for the next 2 months.

Thanks.  The ultimate compliment.

This tournament would be no fun if everybody used the same strategy / picked the same players.

5 of my 6 teams are done. Will also be contorting the Avg/Era team until probably the final deadline.

I settled on an ERA and AVG pretty quickly. Time will only tell if I was lucky, or just missed the obvious. Of course with my history here it will probably turn out to be the latter.

In the 110M theme, the hitters we draft are limited to 599 PAs or less. Does that limit apply only to the draft or does it also apply to the season as well?

Schwarze can confirm, but the usual policy has been that there's no limits at all (across the WISC) on how you use players once they are drafted.

I could not agree more. I'm struggling with every single one of them. Can't seem to a make a good team at any theme. I might lose 100+ in all six leagues.

100M Question

Your Description added W/L's with 2 losses more than wins (157 - 159) however, your also say cumulative wins must be within two of the cumulative losses.

With that in mind, is this kosher?
W = 159
L =  157

YES.  THis is allowed.  I had a hard time with the wording.  Wins and Losses must be within +/- 2.

What is the league number for the 70m league... I am intrigued
6/22/2013 10:19 AM

greggo,

You can't sign up for just one league.  This is the WIS Championship.  All 96 owners are playing in all 6 leagues.  You can get on the waiting list (see the WIS Championship thread in the Theme League Classifieds).

Ok sorry, I put a team in the 70m league.. I will remove it immediately

finished my $100M twist team and was double-checking it when I realized that the math in my head was wrong; one team had two more wins than the other had losses, and vice versa, except that made them 4 games off .500. whoops. (Fortunately, another team was a better fit, plus I actually kept one of the players I'd twisted from the original team.)
