I graduated HS in '88. Couldn't shoot a lick from the perimeter but was fast enough to drive the lane and kick it out to the jump shooters or get fouled and make it to the FT line, where I lived. In '90 and '92 I had arthroscopic surgeries on the same knee which sapped my speed but made me a better jump shooter, lol. I still have a burst of speed every now and then that surprises a defender, but mostly I'll run the offense and try to knock down that open j. Like rebounding, too.
