I think you are qualified for about the right jobs. I'll go further and say that I don't think last season is all that impressive. 27 wins against a mediocre SOS and a 1st rd NT 1 and done? What is so special about that?
As you can see it isn't simply delineated by prestige level as there are higher lower prestige teams you aren't qualified for vs some higher prestige ones. Someone mentioned it somewhere, but schools have various criteria to determine who they want as coach, which explains the difference of being qualified for higher teams vs some lower teams. The lower teams that you don't qualify for must want a better reputation or more post-season wins or whatever. Winning a post season game or two this season would have made a big difference I imagine.
I expect you'll disagree as you've stated your opinion many times, but I haven't stated mine, so I wanted to let you know what someone who has some D1 experience thought about it. Not saying my opinion is law or anything, but since this thread is still going on maybe you'd benefit from another voice. Good luck next season, maybe you'll be able to get over that NT hump and find some better options (unless you just buck it up and take one of those Ds and go from there)
