I expected him to go and didnt even think he would make it through. I had to protect Zimmerman though because the pickings at third were really slender otherwise.

Not sure how this guy is going to normalize out (little help there smitty?) but we'll take a shot with

Jose DeLeon St. Louis Cardinals
Sorry - I can't help with that. I keep only the draft records, not the league worksheets. Why I don't keep the worksheets I don't know.

And I don't know nothin about no normalization.

i'm here ready to pick once newark picks

SS Miguel Tejada, BAL

DAMN YOU NEWARK!!

However, I'm going with a new strategy & need some pop out of the SS area, so it altered my plan a tad by Newark selecting his Orioles version, but we will still like to welcome SS - Miguel Tejada - to the Bravos, but A's version

now, has that ever happened??

I really need the innings, so I'll make it a cool six Dodger pitchers taken with Bill Singer (LAD)

To my great surprise and perhaps ff09's dismay, while he's been protected by the A's in 11 of 17 drafts, this is the first time the Oakland Tejada has ever been drafted.

Now, if you meant have two versions of the same player ever been drafted consecutively, I'm afraid my database really isn't set up to look that up.

yeah, that is what I meant, but amazing that this is a first for the A's version of him

Finally one I wasn't using anyways!

I guess you start by figuring out how many different players have had more than one version drafted in the same league... then, of those, how many in the same round?  Once you figure that out, we could probably look it up.

Yeah -- I have the info, just not in the right format at the moment.

One thing I don't have:picks in the order they were actually made.  If someone got skipped back in the third round of Leg 32 I'm not going to have a record of that; I'll have the picks listed in the original timed-draft order.

Okay - a bit of brute force on my spreadsheet, with a pinch of cleverness thrown in, found two previous instances -- in legs 27 and 31.  I'm not at liberty to mention the players' names at this point in this draft.
