I don't believe I said I didn't like his FG %.  I said I didn't like his 4.0 TOPG.  Obviously Gilmore is one of the best FG% guys in history

Thanks for the feedback on McAdoo....now the question is, do I use his 10+ mil year or his 9+ mil year?  400 more mins but a lil less in reb, blks, but more usage.  Sheesh, one pick and I'm already agonizing lol

My bet is you'll know by round 3 which of those two seasons makes most sense based on what the next two picks bring you.

I would take the season that gives the best per min production, we have no salery cap, and teams are made up of mid level players in a decade draft. You are lucky to have such a strong 1st round pick on your team.

In my last three drafts I've taken my PG in the 1st round. But I was in a position to take one of the last real impact centers, so I couldn't pass. I think there's good depth in the back court for this draft. I never know which team design I'll go with until the 3rd or 4th round.

Wow, we finished the 1st round on the same day we wrapped up the second round of the PO's. We may be able to see 3 rounds in the book by the end of the finals.

George Gervin going #29 somewhat surpised me.  Mainly cuz I thought I could snag him with pick #36. Gervin's best year is a monster and he'll be a major impact player in the 70's DDL, imo. Good pick alec!!!

yeah and it made up for the Paul Silas pick which I felt was a mid to late 2nd rounder.

Thx elei. The Magic Johnson / Oscar Robertson pairing is alittle worrisome. I don't think there's a much stronger backcourt to be had in the 70's.

NP Also the Frazer, Westphal back court is pretty strong also.  Westphal has some monster years,  I would know have him in my ATBA team..  Not sure what apple is doing with Marquez Johnson and Bobby Jones

Was agonizing over the choice between 3 players.  I've put myself in a usage hole and have settled for mediocre interior defense, but am starting out with two monster rebounders, and Boerwinkle's ast% gives me some flexibility in building the backcourt.
