At this point I'm looking for sub 20min players to fill in my bench.

I didn't really plan on taking Reed, but a quality 'big man' sitting out there in the 8th round was just too much, so I pulled the trigger. I thought it better to have Reed on my team than yours also. Now I can run Cowens/Perry/ Adams, for a strong rbd/ast front court, Cowens/Reed/Adams for a stronger scoring front court w/Perry (122/220rbs) backing up Wise @ SF (98%). With Wise a 3 position player this line-up has a ton of options. I still have 4 players to add to increase the number of variations in my line-up. I'm really pleased so far.

I was originally going to take Ted McClain in the 8th round but took Reed instead, I thought that I could kiss McClain good..bye. But look who comes around and brings John Brisker with him...sweet!   .........

Well, my draft is over and I get 2 optional (fun) picks still. So here the truth, I draft a design not players. The design isn't finished yet, it's about 80% done, so I'm working in this draft to see if I can get it to 90% final design. I've up'd the boards and defense wrt DDL#1, I've moved more ast% into the front court also. This is a 70's teams the offense is just massive, the defense has multiple def80's in all 3 zones. My usage is high, I have around 98-100fga/g in my intended lineup and enough backup to run uptempo forever. Penalty, ain't happen with this team I have enough offense to keep my players at RL ppg average and couldn't go into low usage penalty if I tried.  I've held the line pretty well wrt drafted TO's and have the defense and steals in place to win the TO battle. FOULS...I have a few (LOL), but I have 2 other things also, I have a very good team FT% and a good PF draw rate. Bing at 772FTA is the #3 ranked PG and the #6 ranked player of the decade and Wise @ 490fta isn't bad either. I have a 4 or 5 players between 350-400FTA. I drafted around 700-800 3PTA in my intended line-up. This is what brings the design to 90% complete, I've decided that 9-12% perimeter offense was needed in this design. Prior to this I've brought 3-5% with 6% being alot. We don't block too good. I really like this team and can't wait to play with it. This draft was very deep, I think the ABA players is why, but I can't believe some of the players I picked up late in the draft. I hope everybody had fun with this draft, we won't see another like it in this cycle of the DDL. Enjoy it!!!
