One point about the draft aspect of the 47M/no rook concept, should we choose to revive that down the road:
-the difference between this concept and a ODL is that there can be 5 Lebron James, just from multiple seasons. So the top 10 advantage would not necessarily be there since there are easily 24 player/seasons that you can build a title team around.
-the intent was not meant to create advantages but just to spice things up a tad by giving each owner a star player/season (or 2) that they had exclusively. An open league is always more interesting with diverse teams since so many combos can win. This would just guarantee that.
-i am also sure we will get a great diversity of teams without a draft, which is why I have no reservations about moving forward with a regular open league since the major key-no rookies- is acclmplished
