But:  does the sim require 8 pitchers?  We would have seven, w/ good innings.

And I haven't looked at salaries Hard to believe all those guys would not bust the bank, but we'll see in the mornîng.

All right, we're in.  The source I was looking at, very surprisingly, was showing a cut roster for the team (maybe only those who appeared in the game, dunno).

Outfit does not have the "shock and awe" value of many in this league but it's a talented enough group to be interesting to watch, anyway.  And I like 'em.

Did you use the link I provided from Baseball Reference for the roster?

No.

Your first post begins by saying that the teams are to be composed of "players that made the All-Star game that year" and it also says that players who were designated but did not play are eligible.

At the end of the post, it says to use BB ref "for reference," which in that context would normally mean "in case you need to look things up."

Would you like me to post my intended team of All-Stars; I would be happy to.

I don't know who is shown on BB ref.

I'm going strictly off the rosters listed on the Baseball Reference link which includes injured players that were selected for the team but did not play.

I used Baseball Almanac, which agrees in every detail with BB ref.  Sorry for any confusion.

I'll take the 1995 NL if you still have a spot available.
