All3 and some others it is easy to say oh I got this incredible team but it may suck if the bad season comes up, but with Wilt that is less than a 10% chance. If we don't have a draft that is fine but we need greater equality between the teams. Wilt, Wallace, Nance, Jackson, and Reggie Miller against my starting lineup of Moncrief, Petrovic, Majerle, Duncan, and Rollins. If I got all of the cake seasons of my players it would still suck badly because my team has no balance. My team is begging everyone to go -2 against us since we don't shoot threes at all really.

Everyone on your starting lineup regularly gets drafted in odl and the 52 mil draft and Wilt is always a top 3 pick if not number one. Three of my guys do but only one would get drafted in the first four rounds.

3, 8, 10, 11, 15, 16, 18, 21, 24 Remain on the board.

Counting me, that's 16 teams. I have a message from another interested owner who hasn't signed up yet. 2/3s done guys!

That is a quick ranking by my very own superbly well defined stat.. GPS.. GOOD PLAYER SCORE. Each player that is "usually" drafted in the 52 mil draft league is given a 1. Each player that is a 1st round talent in that league is given another 1.

There are a few other guys that are not bad on some of the teams as well. But it gives a broad overview of the teams.

The best team by those rankings is unselected I believe.. all3 and I have powerhouse teams as stated. And many teams are at scores of 3-4.

I do note that this is very unscientific (WIlt should be worth about 5) but I thought it might give the baseball guys some perspective on what a good/bad team is here.

What I could do over this weekend is put together a list of the top 48 at each position.  Then split them into 24 balanced squads.

I will then let masterdebate and another person have those teams put into some form of a randomized group that would allow for no one to know what they are going to get, but have a balanced grouping of players and still leave room to draft two others as well as maybe make sure everyone gets some incredible players, and everyone gets a touch of sim poison too.

Commish:  Once we have 24 guys, are you going to open it up for say 48 hours or so to make roster cuts, trades, etc, then once that time period is closed, post a list of players who are not available to be drafted?

Why not tax every team that has over 5 points on my list.. make them cut down to 5.. and throw the rest in the draft pool.. (We could get a little more input on the points above first.. or even develop a better system)

The first round of the draft then would just be for every team under 5 points on the list.

The second round would be for everyone but  have the teams under 5 followed by the teams at 5 (pre-round 1)

This would likely mean that I would cut Vince and Iggy or Penny.. All 3 would probably cut 2 of Amare/Reggie/Nance.. or Big Ben.. 

I think this would get us close to balanced.. and then all hell will break loose after year 1 anyway

Some good players not on teams btw.. Camby and Chandler stick out as the best to me

One thing logain...the GPS score should be limited to players typically drafted before round 5 since many players in round 5 and 6 are solid support players.  The GPS should show a player that you can build around that has a skill set that allows a player to be dominant at a given skill.  When you give me 6 points you aren't pointing out that most of the Majerle seasons are crap, Griffin, Rollins, and Moncrief are late round picks that are support players, and I have nothing at the point so I am going to have about 40% assists...hello penalty!

I would love to put together 24 more equally balanced squads that creates basic parity, and then allow the idiosyncratic nature of the theme to take over from there.
