I was looking at the dh 52 mill draft that just finished. What am I not seeing about some of these players, i.e. Tom Boerwinkle or Rodrigue Beaubois or Jamaal Tinsley (and I went to Iowa State while he was there)? Some of the names were on my next 48, Camby, Chandler, Evans Ibaka, Korver, AK 47, etc.
They all had one really good season.  Now Tinsley and Beaubois, are back up short minute guys but are really effective when they are in.  Also they have good defense which doesn't show on this.

Name Team P Min Per% Mid% Pnt% Usg% 2pt%# 3pt%# eFG% OReb% DReb% Ast% A/T Stl% Blk%
Boerwinkle, Tom 70-71 Bulls C 2370 10 35 55 16.7 50.3 34.2 50.1 12.7 32.1 19.1 2.1 1.8 3.8
Tinsley, Jamaal 03-04 Pacers PG 1378 56 21 23 17.6 47 37.2 51.8 2.3 8.8 31.6 2.8 3 0.8
Beaubois, Rodrigue 09-10 Mavericks PG 700 37 37 26 24.8 57.8 40.8 59.4 1.9 10.1 13.4 1.4 1.9 1

hmmm - this is really interesting. not sure I see the logic in having the teams pre-set and of extremely variable strengths, though (I understand the commish probably tried to make them even, but is a newbie to the NBA SIM). If an initial full league draft is not desired, I wonder if there is some way to randomize the starting teams while better ensuring equal squads?

tarheel: there's about 8 pages of thread on this. The rosters were more or less randomly created, and yeah, I didn't know about usage pct. We have a solution that everyone who has opined on seems happy with. Would you like a number?

eleibowitz: thank you sir.

Yeah Boerwinkle's season is actually amazing, a guy who rebounds like Russell but passes like Bird.  Statistically speaking of course

I'll take #24.

We have 5 teams left: 10, 11, 16, 18, and 21. I will get the last team listed, so we have four more spots to fill. Those numbers randomly correspond to one of the following rosters, listed only by first player here for ease:

Rod Strickland
Alvin Robinson
Walt Frazier
Maurice Cheeks
Chris Paul.

You pick a number and get one of those teams. I hope you will join.

Is St. Louis still available-if so, I'll take St. Louis and #16

Only 3 more owners. Shaq is still out there.

For ease of information, a randomized player will be listed in this format;

Drazen Petrovic 1989-1992: 1990

Where the year is the winter half of the NBA season, instead of typing 1989-1990-1992-1993: 1990-1991

8/4/2013 12:12 PM
So 90 = 89-90
8/4/2013 12:41 PM
no, 90= 90-91. I was thinking winter/spring. Perhaps fall/spring would be better terms?
8/4/2013 12:43 PM
RED RIVER MOONSHINERS (need 3)

Keepers
Nate Archibald
Mitch Richmond
Karl Malone
Paul Arizin
Bill Walton
Michael Ray Richardson
Peja Stojakovic
Elton Brand
Bill Cartwright

CUT: Russell Westbrook

Doesn't matter.  I just wanted clarification because your initial post confused me.

masterd the only question I have and I've been trying to keep up so if this is redundant I apologize.
How are the initial draft slots going to be determined?
Just because an owners says my team totally sucks determine slot order?
8/4/2013 1:27 PM
Its random. But remember.. the bad teams will cut more players and draft higher because of that
