magic also has four missing seasons, whereas I think Pettit has none. Galveston won the first two championships in MLB making trades like this, and is a contender almost every year. Like I said before, unless deliberate collusion is in play, I'm not inclined to veto many trades. Plus he stated days ago he wanted to move Magic.

Pettit is a greatly underrated player. I've had great success with him when I could get him. While I would slightly prefer Magic, it's certainly not a poor trade.

Children. This isn't the baseball sim.

Magic goes first round in every draft league while Pettit goes largely undrafted. Pettit was a great player but he will be an albatross in this league. Magic is elite at the PG position. Plus he can play three other positions. With rebounding PGs being a premium Magic is damn near the best. Add in that he is an elite passer who can score fairly efficiently while not dominating you best scorer.

Pettit rebounds well but his efficiency is low especially considering how much usage he brings to the party. If Pettit is your leading usage guy you are in trouble. If he isn't you will hate him because he will steal all of the great things your number one guy brings to the table.

Petit is good in single or double season progressives! But should be a flop in this league.

I thought we weren't allowed to use the word flop in context with the NBA anymore, or David Stern would get mad. j/k

dsp...most leagues where you had him were in progressives.  When he plays in his era he is great, but put him against Mailman, Moses, Barkley, Timmy, Rodman, and McHale.

Hell, Pettit isn't going to be better than Blake Griffin in this league.
