Nice job on this bullman and thanks again for posting these.  One comment though, I think you misspelled Wooster in the list above.  As in, you've misspelled it with a lot of different letters so that it actually spells a different school.  Easy mistake.

Love the predictions - thanks bullman!

I would not hate those predictions at all. Two seasons from 0-16 to 11-5 in the toughest conference in D3? Would take it.

My call to win 'em all

ASC -- Texas Lutheran looks the tiniest smidge better than Hardin-Simmons in what should be a great two-team race.
Capital -- Nobody starts the season ranked over 500, but St. Mary's of Maryland witha 10-player rotation should have enough to win the league.
Centennial -- Ursinus is the preseason No. 1 and there's little reason to doubt they'll carry the league. Better disussion question -- can a team with 38 speed win a national title?
CUNY -- Polytechnic gets my nod ahead of NYCT and Medgar Evers.
CCIW -- There could be some good competition here, but the human factor still makes Northland the team to beat.
Coast -- It's the Coast, so we're talking Wentworth all the way.
Commonwealth -- Typically a two-team battle between Susquehanna and Altoona, this year's call is for Susquehanna as PSA appears in a bit of a recycle.
Empire -- Riddler's Vassar squad is the elite of the Empire this season.
Freedom -- In a human-free league with no real frontrunner, I'll reach down and call DeSales the leader.
GNE -- Five ranked teams to start the season in the Evil Empire, but the presense of my team on that list calls it all into question. Despite that power, Johnson & Wales looks a clear line better than the other four.
Heartland -- Defiance looks to be the clear favorite atop the league chase.
Iowa -- Dare we call anyone but Buena Vista to win the league? No. We do not dare.
Little East -- UMass Dartmouth holding off a simmed Rhode Island is what I'm seeing in my crystal ball. It will be interesting to see how MLA fares.
Michigan -- Always a fun league because year after year it looks so close on paper. This is no exception as Calvin and Eureka grade out very similar. I'll give a slim edge to Calvin.
Midwest -- No team starts over 500. Rose-Hulman Tech, by virtue of being the only human in the conference, gets my nod.
Minnesota -- Even though they're simmed, I'll call St. John's above the human-coached Hamline squad. Moorhead's roster raises some eyebrows.
NESCAC -- In the league that often comes down to Conn and Tufts, I'm going to call this season for Connecticut.
New Jersey -- Ramapo could be underrated at 23 and could easily 16-0 the New Jersey this season.
N. Atlantic -- Maine, Presque Isle looks teh best in a league where the teams are all jumbled up and humans don't seem to matter.
NCAC -- Wittenberg, with some recently proclaimed message board "hate," will back it up with a league title.
Northwest -- Whitworth appears to stand clear of the field in the Northwest this season. Possibly also underranked at 20.
Ohio -- Otterbein is ranked, but is simmed. On paper, they're also the best team in the league. But since I have a suitable human option, I'll go with John Carroll in the battle fo brains vs. bytes.
ODAC -- Emory & Henry gets my nod ahead of Lynchburg.
Penn -- Misericordia and Arcadia are about as evenly matched as two teams can be. Both have humongous junior superclasses. I'll give the slimmest of nods to Misericordia since I have to make a pick.
Skyline -- US Merchant Marines appears to be back to its dominant profile in the Skyline this season.
So. Cal -- How's everyone feel about Colorado? Good? We're good? Good.
St. Louis -- Webster is going for its fifth straight 16-0. They'll likely get it.
SUNY -- Fredonia gets my nod, but nobody is going to strike the fear of God into non-conference foex.
University -- The University starts with 4 of the top 14 teams in the nation this year. Two-time champs Emory have reloaded admirably. But Ozarks is my pick to win the league.
Upstate -- New York Univ. might be simmed for the first time in many, many seasons, but they're still the best team in the league, though RPI could challenge.
USA South -- Home to three of the top five teams in the nation this season, this could be a fun conference to watch. The voters got it right for once as Piedmont is slightly the better of the lot.
Wisconsin -- Concordia(WI) has the best of this league, which produced last season's national runner-up.

Nice work bullman and rednu. Thanks.

Very cool this thread is already in it's 3rd page.

I'm very surprised to see that bullman and I agreed on our favorite to win the Freedom. I really thought I was dipping deep into the pool there.

16/17 wins would be nice. wish it could happen
8/21/2013 4:26 PM
Holy cow. You have Hendrix in the NT? I'm amazed. This team has struggled, especially in the UAA, with the prediction for 6 wins. I'd hve to go back three seasons to total that many Conf wins!

Great stuff guys. Always look forward to the predictions. No offense to last years teams but there are some monster teams this year. There will be several teams over a 600 team rating will another handful close. Very stacked teams this season. Let the fun begin!

Beating  the worst team in the country  by 8 in an exibition means bad things... we'll see against ''the invisible national tournament team. Wooster.

No worries jlrunruh, it'll take way more than messing up my username to offend me.  I have darnoc in my conference, gotta have a high tolerance if you're going to spend any time with that guy.
If you had any offense take it out on me. Every game counts. (ILL bet about darnoc)

I know i'm stressing a bit about playing a non-sim but i have 3 games against non sims all season lemme alone

I'm very surprised to see that bullman and I agreed on our favorite to win the Freedom. I really thought I was dipping deep into the pool there.

Picking names out of a hat is probably as accurate as anything else in the Freedom conference.

I am interested to see how Ursinus does.  I have them 12th, but they start off ranked #1.
