I don't believe that the schedule makers are looking at that sort of thing, but yes, nuke's theory is WAY more plausible.

Well, that game was the dagger. 11 innings and can't push across one damn run - their pitching was phenomenal after the 6th and they couldn't give them anything. 1 runner in scoring position after the 6th.

It's been over for awhile.   Cleveland has CHI, MIN, HOU on the schedule.   Somebody would have to have Ranger-like meltdown.

The O's could have been in the #2 spot with a sweep (or even 3/4) vs TB. They've got nothing left though. The season has taken its toll.

Machado's leg looked gruesome. I hope he makes it back, as he's a fun guy to watch.
