Challenge 7: Monday Night Football

This will be a blind fantasy auction, of the players for the Jets/Falcons game on Monday night.

Each tribe will have 1,000 pts, which they will distribute as bids for individual players, for the following positions on both teams: QB/RB/WR/TE/K.  You can also bid on kick returners and punt returners, if they don't play one of the listed positions, but they will only earn points if they score on a kick or punt return, and lose points if they fumble on a kick or punt return.  (For example, if you picked a defensive player as a kick returner, and that player scores a TD on an interception return, you would not get any points).

I'll need each tribe to submit a list to me of each player you want to bid on, and the amount of points you are bidding on each player.  If two or more tribes tie on the high bid for a player, the tribe that submitted their list first will win the bid.

There is no roster size limit.  Every player that you win the bid on will be on your roster.

Lots of possibilities, so be smart with your bids.

As an advantage to the tribe that wins today's NFL challenge, the winning tribe will receive an additional 25 pts to put toward their bids.  Bids are due to me by 6PM ET on Monday.

Scoring:

Passing
· TD Pass = 4pts
· Every 25 passing yards = 1pts
· 2pt Passing Conversion = 2pts
· Interceptions Thrown = -2pts
Rushing
· TD Rush = 6pts
· Every 10 rushing yards = 1pt
· 2pt Rushing Conversion = 2pts

Receiving
· TD Reception = 6pts
· Every 10 receiving yards = 1pt
· 2pt Receiving Conversion = 2pts

Kicking
· FG Made (50+ yards) = 5pts
· FG Made (40-49 yards) = 4pts
· FG Made (0-39 yards) = 3pts
· Each PAT Made = 1pt
· FG Missed (any distance) = -1

Misc
· Kickoff Return TD = 6pts
· Punt Return TD = 6pts
· Fumble Recovered for TD = 6pts
· Each Fumble Lost = -2

No, the bonus are added in, the correct totals were:

Each tribe won a category and one category was a push

Wouldn't Arfy get clue two and you mail clue one to Ted Ginn

Most yards get clue #1.  Knowshon had 150, Ginn 147

Nope, you get what you win.  You could have both starting QBs on your team, or none.  You could have all the starting WR's or none.  Your team might end up being 20 players, or possibly 0 or 1.  Each team will get whoever they win the bids for, there is no maximum or minimum number of players at each position.

OK, I have all the inputs for the challenge.  I think I have figured out all the names (some were pretty funny).  I'll post the rosters first, then I'll show you all the bids.  Interesting stuff.
